Chocolate and cream…

The most important things in life require balance, but achieving balance usually requires a conscious effort.  Today’s outfit was my expression of finding a balance between colors, textures, and patterns.

This color block suede skirt is where it all starts!  I’m in love with the rich chocolate brown color, highlighted by the cobalt and white pattern.  I paired it with a cream moto jacket and a sheer blouse to contrast the colors, texture and the visual weight of the skirt.  I chose cobalt suede heels, a pocket square borrowed from my husband’s closet and used as a neck scarf, and a leopard clutch…a little leopard goes a long way for just a dash of print!
