Throw your preconceived notions of “less is more” out the window today, because this look goes all out. It only takes one standout piece to make a stellar outfit, but when you know how to mix and match your statement pieces successfully, you’ll definitely be turning heads.
First, take a look at your textures. I’ve layered my luxurious feather gilet over a crystalline-bee-dusted sweater. The softness against the shine of the crystals just makes you want to reach out for a feel, and the endearing notion of the fluttering bees keeps the outfit daytime-friendly.
I’ve threaded the shine through my outfit with my Gucci bag and metallic heels. With a glimmer here and there from head to toe, there’s always something to look at. This keeps visual interest, and that’s when the compliments come in!
I have a tiny bit of color incorporated on the interior of my bag. The golden yellow is perfect for fall and definitely appropriate for daytime events. While this look is casual as a whole, the separate pieces could easily be dialed to evening wear. The block heels paired with a sultry midi dress is perfect for dinner and drinks. The feather gilet could easily be layered over something more extravagant for a couture-esque look.
With glamorous pieces like these, I know I’ll have a look for any occasion this autumn. And what’s more — they’ll serve me well into the winter (and even spring!)

Love the outfit! I’ve been lusting after that bag for so long, how do you like it?
Rosalie,
I bought this bag in Italy several months ago and I’m still obsessed with it as the day i purchased it! If you want to use it as a cross body bag then get the smaller size, which is just as gorgeous! Thanks for stopping by the blog
