Snaking Into Spring

Trench coats are one of those pieces I always come back to — timeless, practical, and so easy to make your own.

There are so many fabrics and colors to choose from, which makes it fun to play with different vibes each season. This one is a lightweight vegan leather in a neutral python print, which gives it a little edge but still keeps it super wearable for spring.

And if this print itself wasn’t enough, let’s talk about the on the matching pants — it feels put together but not too serious. You can pair them with a white tee for something casual or a button-down to dress it up a bit. For this look, I paired this back with a western-style shirt as a little nod to the Montana Ranch trend. It’s all about mixing textures and aesthetics to create something that feels fresh.

To complete the look, I grabbed my most recent handbag addition: this Anthony Luciano handbag! Creating this gorgeous, handcrafted leather bag was the perfect way to kick off spring. You get to choose from a variety of genuine leather prints to craft a bag as unique as you. There are various workshop styles open to the public every week at Studio 1300, and you can book online!

Stylist Tip: I always tell my clients: don’t stop at just one trench coat. They’re honestly one of the most versatile things you can have in your closet. I have a few I rotate depending on the weather or mood — fur-trimmed for winter, military-inspired, and even a plaid one I pull out when I’m feeling bold. You can throw it over anything, even pajamas, (for Moms on drop off duty) and still look like you made an effort. It’s that piece that lets you have fun and explore your style without overthinking it.
